This website (including the Knowledge Base at wiki.flightcenter-nellinger.ch) is hosted on a server provided by Vultr, located in Germany. Aggregated traffic statistics (e.g. number of visits, popular pages) are generated directly from the server logs described below using self-hosted, log-based software; this does not involve cookies or any tracking script running in your browser.
Pursuant to Article 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution and the federal data protection provisions (the revised Federal Act on Data Protection, revFADP), which took effect on September 1, 2023, every person has the right to privacy and to protection against the misuse of their personal data. Flightcenter Nellinger collects only the personal data necessary to provide the requested services. This primarily involves communicating with customers and providing them with information, as well as billing. Relevant data includes customers' personal details such as names, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers and dates of birth. This data is collected directly from the customer, for example via our contact or booking forms and it may also be processed by service providers we engage for that purpose. Within Flightcenter Nellinger, only those departments or positions that need the data to perform the tasks described under "Purpose of Data Processing" above have access to it.
The Knowledge Base's feedback form is provided by Google Forms. It is not loaded automatically, it only loads and Google only receives your input after you click "Load Form" on the feedback page. Google's own privacy policy applies to anything you submit through that form.
As a general rule, we do not disclose customers' personal data to third parties for any purpose other than those necessary to provide the requested services. Depending on the service, this may include visas, passports, personal data, flight information and payment details. Personal data is stored and encrypted via Proton Drive, based in Switzerland.
We store personal data only for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes described in this policy, subject to any statutory retention requirements. Once the purpose no longer applies, or the applicable statutory retention period has expired, the data is routinely deleted. In most cases, this period is three to five years, in accordance with current regulations.
Where this website offers the option to enter personal or business information (e.g. email address, name, address), you provide this information on an expressly voluntary basis, for example by filling out an online contact form.
To protect your data during transmission, we use state-of-the-art encryption methods (SSL/TLS).
